ASUO Senate President

I led a legislative body of 30+ officers as Senate President at ASUO for over a year, facilitating weekly senate hearings using Robert's Rules of Order. I oversaw critical fiscal decisions involving a six-figure surplus, strategically allocating funds to support 350+ student organizations, programs, contracts, and university departments. My role required diplomatic conflict resolution between student stakeholders while addressing fundamental student needs and managing internal conflicts. I interviewed and hired 3 new senators during my presidency. Held meetings with faculty and spoke on panels to university donors. Additionally, I successfully coordinated and executed various events throughout the University of Oregon campus, developing strong organizational leadership skills while always doing my best to represent the broader student body.
